Psalm 16:10 (KJV) 10  For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy
One to see corruption.
Q: WHERE WAS IT? – THE LOWER PARTS OF THE EARTH
Q: HOW LONG WAS HE THERE? THREE DAYS AND THREE NIGHTS
Matthew 12:40 (KJV) 40  For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale’s belly; so
shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
Q: WHAT DID HE DO?

  1. Went to Paradise (in the lower parts of the earth)-Lk 23:42,43
  2. Made an Announcement to fallen Angels-1 Peter 3:18-20
  3. Led a host of captives.” Paul says about Christ, “When he ascended on high, he took
    many captives” (Ephesians 4:8).

After Three days, His body and spirit were reunited, and He rose from the dead (John 20). Christ
returned to heaven victoriously, as God. In His triumph, Jesus had defeated and destroyed our
spiritual enemies: the devil, death, and the curse of sin. Oh glorious day!!!!

Hebrews 2:14-15 (KJV) 14  Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he
also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the
power of death, that is, the devil;  15  And deliver them who through fear of death were all their
    lifetime subject to bondage.

 In Hebrew Scriptures, the word used to describe the realm of the dead is sheol. – “the
    place of the dead.”
 The New Testament Greek equivalent to sheol is “hades”, which is also a general
reference to “the place of the dead.”
 BIBLE VERSIONS JUST USE-THE GENERIC TERM HELL!
The different terms used in the Bible for heaven and HELL—Sheol, Hades,
Abaddon, Tartarus, Gehenna, The Lake Of Fire, And Paradise, Abraham’s
Bosom—are the subject of much debate and can be confusing.
Jesus Christ was very busy for three days and nights in the bowels of the earth.
KEY TAKE AWAY: JESUS DID NOT SUFFER IN HELL BUT DOMINATED
FROM THE CROSS TO THE RESURRECTION!!!!
