Psalms 1:1-3 (KJV) 1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. 2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. 3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
The Tree of Life- Man’s original design was to eat of the Tree of Life.
Genesis 2:9 – And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
John 14:6 – Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Genesis 3:22-24 – And the LORD God said, Behold, the man has become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever.
Genesis 3:24 – So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.
The Fall of Man and the redemption of men would all hinge on yet another tree planted by almighty God. The Cross of Calvary will forever be the tree God planted to save humanity. That tree became the required altar of God for the Lamb to be slain, our Savior the Lord Jesus Christ the final sacrifice for the salvation of the world. The greatest moment of human history occurred at the foot of that erected tree by our creator God.
Today we at Family Worship Center thank God for the planting of churches Alive with the grace and glory of God. We realize that the growth and the healing we can know in this life comes from God’s finished work at the cross of Calvary. The Cross and the Tree Of Life are God’s plan for man. Life flows from the Cross… it is a Tree Of Life for you and for me both now and ever more.
- Our logo depicts a FAMILY (the family of God), WORSHIPING with life, victory, hope and healing at the CENTER of it all (at the cross).
We pray at the center of every heart, every family, every home and in every town let their always be a Family Worship Center.
Revelation 22:14 – Blessed [are] they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
Proverbs 13:12 – Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but [when] the desire cometh, [it is] a tree of life.
Ezekiel 17:24 – And all the trees of the field shall know that I the LORD have brought down the high tree, have exalted the low tree, have dried up the green tree, and have made the dry tree to flourish: I the LORD have spoken and have done [it].
- Our logo depicts a strong Family Tree. Jesus is the vine and we are the branches.
John 15:5 (KJV) 5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
Each family represents a vital branch strong enough to bear the burden of the heat, cold and prevailing winds and storms in life. The life flowing through the branches will be used to reach-out to the world around it. WE are an out-reaching church at the FWC.
- Our logo depicts a church alive and growing with new ideas and fresh anointing coming from the root source of all life, Jesus Christ. Under the canopy of this tree rests key branch ministries, “yielding their fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree [were] for the healing of the nations.”
Revelation 22:2 – In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, [was there] the tree of life, which bare twelve [manner of] fruits, [and] yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree [were] for the healing of the nations.
Revelation 2:7 – He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.
